Beechwood, veneer and marquetry with leaf-motives in different, fine tropical woods. Emile Gallé lived from1846 to 1904, Ecole de Nancy. The small table is restored and hand-polished with shellac. It carries Gallé's signature as wooden-inlay in the upper plate. An almost identical table was "Work of Art of the month January 2007" in the Oldenburg Museum.
