wohl 7.Jahrhundert A.D. Sitzende Buddhistische Figur, geschnitztes Holz. Originale, fragmentarisch erhaltene Fassung und Vergoldung. Buddah auf Lotus-Thron, dessen Seiten von sich überlappenden Blütenblättern gebildet werden. Baldachin in Form einer Kobra. Buddha wird von einem Wesen und einer Ballonflasche flankiert. Das geheimnisvolle Lächeln des Buddhas ist stilistisch typisch für das Koreanische Königreich von Paekche, ca. 7. Jahrhundert.
